Nak citer skit psal kek bonda nih. There was actually leftover fresh strawberry and though that it would be nice if I place it as decor on top of the cake. I cut it into slices and arranged it nicely covered the top cake (argghh forgotten to take some photos of it).
Nak dijadikan cerita, kek tu letak kat luar, tak masuk peti ais... Esok paginyer dah tentu lah masam kan... So with the leftover (asik baki2 jer nih ;p) choc ganache I re-do the whole things and this is the output... Feedback from my siblings, the cake too chocolatey... Cake details:

Crazy over my Walnut Carrot Cake :)

Ling-ling (Ling2) is my colleague. Since ever 1st time I brought this cake to office, she never failed to order this cake from me. She used to order 4 walnut carrot cake to bring back to her home town; Penang. All her family like the cake, as what she mentioned 'They are crazy over your cake.." :)
I take it as compliment ya.. Hehehe... Special request from Ling2; make it less sugar. That's it. Size available in appr. 6x6" square and 9x9" square.

Happy Birthday Heerthana - 1 yr old

Mohana ordered this for her daughter. She requested to frost with royal icing. I told her royal icing is not buttercream and kinda very sweet. She insists and she also want the cake to be higher than normal one and it's must be a carrot cake and saiz of the cake must be small one. Huhuhu...

So I decided to add 1/2 of the recipe to my normal Walnut Carrot Cake and bake into 2 mould. The filling is the Cream Cheese and finally frosted with Buttercream ;p. However the rest of other decorations eg. leaves, flowers and shells border are made from Royal Icing :) Cake height is around 4".
